Backed by Baltimore Innovation Initiative funding, SedSim Duo is under development to bring EEG and NIRS simulation into one platform, expanding SmartTIVA’s capabilities for device testing, clinician training, and technology validation.
SmartTIVA received the Pava Center Biscotti Award in May 2026, with $30,000 in funding.
Following feedback from our meeting with the FDA, SmartTIVA is preparing to begin human factors testing.
